So I have always enjoyed the idea of creating team rosters based on different themes and even lore from outside universe things. However, it is hard to play them on Blood Bowl 2. Since it requires a lot of set up, which leads to imbalance.
I think a way we can do it however is with the Mixed Team options available in the game client.
The idea is to take the Mixed Team and create a set Roster and Theme that must be followed. Like the Lineman League where you can only use Linemen; The Mixed Team Reimagine is a way to create a Team using the BB2 Client.
**This is a thought exersize with the idea of having fun**

Let's start with Team One:

A team of trolls can be created with 3 trolls (Sadly, Underworld Denzins Trolls would not be available or it would be 4 Trolls (No mutations)

And it can be made with two teams! We are going to use the Far East Association so we can save Violence Together for later.

Trolls (Far East Association)

Name and Allotmet Skills Stat Line Normal Double Cost
Troll 0-3 Really Stupid, Loner, Throw Team Mate, Always Hungry, MIghty Blow, Regeneration 4519 S G,A,P 110k
Black Orc 0-2   4429 G,S A,P 80k
Goblin 0-16 Right Stuff, Dodge, Stunty 6237 A G,S,P 40k

Black Orcs are to be considered to be Young Trolls (AKA Teens) So they are a little weaker, Regeneration has not developed, and they are rebellious by listening and doing what they are told.

"Star Players" are mercenaries you are allowed to purchase.

Orc Thrower AKA The Toll Tamer (100k)
Goblin Poggoer -- Because it is funny. (100k)
Looney -- Chainsaws! (70k)

This team takes all the silly fun of Ogre Teams and instead lets you do it with Regenerating Trolls and slightly tougher Goblins instead of Gnobblers.
"Slightly tougher" is not a phrase I would have ever thought would be used to describe Goblins.

Team Two:

Ogres and Goblins (Union of Small People)

The next is based on older Fluff. Once Ogres and Goblins worked together, but the Goblins kept stealing from the Ogres and this rightly pissed them off. So they fired them and got Snotlings / Gnobblers. I say, why not go back to the old days of Gobbos and Ogres!

Name and Allotmet Skill Stat Line Normal Double Cost
Ogres 0-4 Bone Head, Loner, Mighty Blow, Thick skull, Throw Team Mate 5529 S G,A,P 140k
Goblins 0-16 Right Stuff, Dodge, Stunty 6237 A G,S,P 40k

"Star Players" are mercenaries you are allowed to purchase (Besides the Ogres and Goblin, should you have room on your roster)

Ogre -- A 5th one! (170k)
Looney -- Chainsaws! (70k)
Bombadier -- Why not? (70k)

Now me, I would prefer to do Ogres and Halflings, but I can not find any lore to support it....YET! Also the limit of 4 Ogres is to balance the Strength 2 and half as brittle Gobblins over Gnobblers.

Team Three:

And my last one for the first round is a bit more of a try hard team.
A limited form of the Chaos Pact!

Now there will be some comprimises. It is the way of Life.

Chaos Pact is made of:

Name and Allotmet Skills Stat Line Normal Doubles Cost
Renegade Human Lineman 0-12   6338 G,S,P,M A 50k
Renegade Dark Elf Lineman 0-1 Animosity 6348 G,A,M P,S 70k
Renegade Goblin 0-1 Animosity, Dodge,Right Stuff, Stunty 6237 A,M G,P,S 40k
Renegade Skaven Lineman 0-1 Animosity 7337 G,M A,P,S 50k
Renegade Orc Lineman 0-1 Animosity 5339 G,M A,P,S 50k
Ogre 0-1 Bone Head, Loner, Mighty Blow, Thick skull, Throw Team Mate 5529 S G,A,P,M 140k
Troll 0-1 Really Stupid, Loner, Throw Team Mate, Always Hungry, MIghty Blow, Regeneration 4519 S G,A,P,M 110k
Minotaur 0-1 Wild Animal, Loner, Frenzy, Horns, Mighty Blow, Thick skull 5528 S G,A,P,M 150k

PHEW!

So the Comprimise. Chaotic Player Pact!
Since there are no humans available with Chaos, lets mix it up a little. For Lineman lets use the Chaos Beastmen. Free horns and no access to Passing for +10k, but you get a lot of access to mutations.
Then we can have one (1) skaven lineman and goblin from Underworld Denzines (And only 1 Animosity). Add 1 Dark Elf Lineman. We will have no orc. I know.... sadness abounds. However we do get 3 big guys, 2 of which have mutations on normals. The Chaos Minotaur and the Underworld Denzin Troll!, in the place of the Ogre we can use the Rat Ogre; who does get mutations on doubles. Not a bad comprimise I think.
A lot of Mutations available with some of the flavor and for Star Players!

Name and Allotmet Skills Stat Line Normal Double Cost
Chaos Beast Man 0-12 Horns 6338 G,S,M A,P 60k
Underworld Skaven 0-1 Animosity 7337 G,M A,S,P 50k
Underworld Goblin 0-1 Right Stuff, Dodge, Stunty 6237 A,M G,S,P 40k
Dark Elf Lineman 0-1   6348 G,A S,P 70k
Chaos Minotaur 0-1 Wild Animal, Loner, Frenzy, Horns, Mighty Blow, Thick skull 5528 S,M G,A,P 150k
Underworld Troll 0-1 Really Stupid, Loner, Throw Team Mate, Always Hungry, MIghty Blow, Regeneration 4519 S,M G,A,P 110k
Skaven Rat Ogre 0-1 Frenzy, Mighty Blow, Loner, Prehensile Tail, Wild Animal 6528 S G,A,P,M 150k

Underworld Skaven Blitzer -- (120k) +50k and you can get Claw or Mighty Blow!
Chaos Warrior (130k)
Dark Elf Blitzer (130k)

So there is my first foray into the Fantasy Teams, but unlike others, we can actually make these teams and play them.

Next time, lets look at Scales and Tusks, More Undead, and a Human Themed Try Hard Team!

Would love to recieve any feed back and thoughts.

The Troll team is my favorite from this list.
Lots of gobblins getting eaten makes me happy!
