We're just about at the end Season 12 and the hunt for playoffs has reached fever pitch within the Big O. Who's left in the race and who's been left behind? Let's find out!

The Scuffling Dead (Necromantic 1690) - by Serj

Current Record 1st 8-1-2 (+8)

Story So Far

After a rough 1-0-2 start, Serj has well… surged his way into top spot with 6 straight wins (7 wins from the last 8 appearances) - 2pts clear of the Nick and can't finish lower than 4th, as a result a lock for Season 12 playoffs!

Notable Additions/Losses

The Scuffling Dead have been haemorrhaging players since Season 11 playoffs but nothing rivals this season to the loss of both star Wights - Craster Knightking (Agi 4, MB, Tackle, Guard, juggernaut) & Royce Flameclaw (Dodge, Guard, Diving Tackle, Stand Firm). The additional loss of import Golem Frank (Block, Guard) to Road Warrior was just insult to injury.

How Did The Experts Fare?

Spot on about the Golem issue, though clearly undersold how hard Fenrir and Luke could carry the load. Well played to Serj.

The Ball Pinchers (Wood Elves 1360) - by Gdaynick

Current Record 2nd 7-2-2 (+7)

Story So Far

Making more with less - Wood Elf Phenom Gdaynick has been showing why he's rated so highly, getting results and the cost of his team's health. As a result he'll enter Week 11 with only 3 rostered players...

Notable Additions/Losses

Overwhelming. The graveyard is littered with "retired" stars and would-be's. There's even THREE TREES in there. For the current crop? Mike Oxard (Agi 4, Sure Hands, Tackle Wardancer) and Phil McCrackin (Agi 5, Block, Leap Catcher) compose a formidable two Elf Agi 5 game that most teams can't handle.

Never Swapping (Necromantic 1890) - by Djoolyurn

Current Record 3rd 6-2-3 (1)

Story So Far

The model of consistency this season in Division 1, Djoolyurn's managed to weather a mid-season storm and looks certain to return to playoffs.

Notable Additions/Losses

Much like Serj, Djoolyurn has also had Golem issues - Downn (Block, Dodge, Guard) has so far been irreplaceable. YoU's (Agi 4, Block, Tackle Ghoul) passing has also been unfortunate, however the emergence of Arounddd (Agi 4, STR 4, Block, MB Wolf) finally sees Djooyurn with the reliable removal power critics have been lamenting.

Bar Room Blusterers (Wood Elves 1920) - by Varksen

Current Record 4th 6-1-4 (+5)

Story So Far

Despite a recent loss in the infamous "Wood Elf Off" against Nick, Varksen has done well to recover and be in contention for playoffs after a tough opening month to Season 12.

Notable Additions/Losses

The inability to develop a secondly Wardancer to support superstar Dennis "Dorhain" Jr is well documented, as is the unfortunate Agi bust to "Sticky-Hand" Stevo (MA 9, STR 3, Wrestle, Sidestep, Guard).

Best Result

The One True Path (Chaos 1980) - by James Typhoon

Current Record 5th 4-3-3 (1)

Story So Far

Started strongly - the outright leader by Week 6 and winless until Week 11. 0-2-2 record between wins has seen The One True Path plummet down to 7th and now sitting in 5th, very much outside looking in.

Notable Additions/Losses

Handful of dead roleplayers isn't worth discussion. Rasputin however (Block, MB, Claw, Guard, Tackle Warrior) is only 10 SPP away from Legend however.

Lazy Lounge Lizards UTD (Lizards 1640) - by Durteef

Current Record 6th 5-1-5 (+4)

Story So Far

It's almost deja'vu here - strong start, fantastic wins against top contenders and yet Durteef's finals campaign feels like it's on life support. A game outside of the Top 4, can Durteef overcome history and return to playoffs?

Notable Additions/Losses

Tyrannosaurus Ted's (Block, Dodge, SF, BT Kroxigor) retirement was tectonic, though legend Skink Rox has a new backup - Tlaxitza of Ziggurat (MA 9, Agi 4, Sure Hands), a terrifying Skink core to make any Lizard coach envious.

Following Durteef this season has been a rollercoaster - from world beater to re-roller almost week by week. That said, he's just about where we expected him to end up in Season 12.

Celebrity Veg 2.0 (Kislev 1980) - by DestructionDarby

Current Record 7th 5-1-4 (0)

Story So Far

Possibly the hardest coach to predict results wise. Wins games against much fancied opponents only to drop the easier games. Despite all this Darby's likely the strongest contender for playoffs that's not currently in the Top 4.

Notable Additions/Losses

Week 7 against Serj was nothing short of a disaster - Killer Zac Safron II? (POMB, Block, Tackle) Retired. Utility Baroccoli Obama? (Block Guard) Dead. Superstar Catcher Christian Kale? (MA+, STR+, Block, Sidestep) Hobbled back to MA 7.

Best Result

Hi Ho off to Work We Go (Chaos Dwarves 1670) - by Zygmund

Current Record 8th 4-3-4 (-4)

Story So Far

Looking critically, Season 12 very much feels like a missed opportunity for the Chaos Dwarves. Zygmund's record does not showcase the on pitch dominance, nor the damage they've been dishing out. Playoffs aren't out of reach, but they could have been much, much closer.

Notable Additions/Losses

A pair of Chorf Blockers - ME Trip (Dodge, SF, Guard) and ME Waddle (Guard, MB) has been rough for Zygmund - Division 1's a harsh environment to be rebuilding Agi 2 players

How Did The Experts Fare?

Adapted beautifully and arguably still underachieved. Happy to admit we were dead wrong on this one.

The Carroburg Comets (Humans 1820) - by Road Warrior

Current Record 9th 3-5-3 (+1)

Story So Far

Despite the brutal start for The Carroburg Comets, they were looking lively. A top finished looked assured after beating Djoolyurn in Week 5, that was until they hit the wall in Week 6 managing 1-2-2 since. The rankest of outsiders, but there's still a chance.

Notable Additions/Losses

Started Season 12 with a bang - niggling injury to star import Scooter "Jackpot" Jaxx (Agi 5, Dodge, Sure Hands, Leap) AND an AV bust to Legendary Thrower Wilfred (Agi 5, Block, Dodge, Fend, Accurate). Foster II's (STR 4, Dodge, Frenzy, Juggernaut, Tackle) late demise doesn't escape our view either.

Chaos from Laos (Chaos 1890) - by rsVordoca

Current Record 10th 4-2-5 (-4)

Story So Far

Respectable start, followed by a rough mid season and now entering a strong purple patch as his team develops. It's been a trial by fire for the Chaos from Laos in Season 12

Notable Additions/Losses

Losing of half of his developed Warriors in Week 1 - Douangchay Phichit (Block, Guard Warrior) was less than ideal, but to his credit the much needed Beastman role players are starting to blossom and the Admiral finally has some much needed assistance.

Doomed Witches (Dark Elves 1690) - by JapeNZ

Current Record 11th 3-2-6 (-1)

Story So Far

Rebuilding in Division 1 for what feels like the third consecutive season, Jape's seen his share of fantastic wins and horrific set backs. There is a light though at the end of the light, a bash lite run home might seen The Doomed Witches with a full set of Blitzers for Season 13!

Notable Additions/Losses

Lose a Blitzer, Buy a Blitzer, Level a Blitzer, Repeat. It's just the latest edition of the Jape Curse - the star Witch Elves are immortal at the cost of his glass Blitzers. Spare a thought for Nallaine (Block, Dodge, Guard, Sidestep Lineman), the model Elf Lineman lost too soon.

Story So Far

Season 12 for the Warc Machine was filled with hope but quickly went of the rails. Close losses and big name retirements shocked the Orcs and they just never got started. A season to forget that's for sure.

Notable Additions/Losses

SSJ3 Son Goku (Agi 4, Block, Dodge, Guard) resembling a Wardancer every passing week (recently AV busted). Raditz's (MA+, Block, Guard Catcher) death was tragic, though against all odds Tarble (Block, Dodge, Sure Hands, Fend, Sidestep, AV 6 Catcher) is set to be the team's first legend.

Currently leading the super tight Division 2, as he has for most of this season - Morka's just about home and almost back into playoffs, though a costly loss to Haz in Week 11 may make it much closer than he would like as he enters Week 12 a dead heat with MrMonster's Chaos Dwarves.

Notable Additions/Losses

Week 11 was indeed costly in more ways that one. "It is useless to resist" (Dodge, Guard Runner) Dead, "If he could be turned (Block, MB, SF Ulfwerener) niggled and "You know it to be true! (MB, SF Berserker) enduring an Agi bust - all at the worst time of the season.

Notable Additions/Losses

Further more, a crucial win over Morka in Week 11 has blown open the race for top spot - will Haz be able to continue his roll into post-season glory?

Notable Additions/Losses

Numerous lineman, a natural one turner (Dragon Scarer - MA 10, Block, Sure Feet) and a nice support (Mitchell - Block, Sidestep Catcher) all dead. Though Sturdywood (MA+, Block, Grab, Dodge, BT Treeman) continues to make a mockery of other Trees in ReBBL.

Notable Additions/Losses

We dreamt for the stars with Dalryk's Goblins and almost were rewarded. Maybe next season.

Coffinwood Maggots (Undead 1450) - by Razour Sharp

Current Record 9th 3-4-4 (-2)

Story So Far

A mixed season for Razour Sharp and the good old Coffinwood Maggots. Either a combination of Undead hitting a mid to high tv wall, a brutally competitive Division 3 or just bad luck. Either way, the Maggots remain one of the least hoped for opponents to draw in the upcoming Swiss.

Notable Additions/Losses

The retirement of Scale Rotten mid-season (MB, Tackle, Jump Up) surely didn't make life easier for razour Sharp.

Last Two Games

Scinttillant Snotballz, 2nd game to be announced

How Did The Experts Fare?

Underachieved from our view point, though his own prediction was clearly spot on.

Henson Hooligans (Lizards 1570) - by Popsicle

Current Record 10th 2-4-5 (-4)

Story So Far

Division 3 was always going to be a tough ask for a young Lizard team and Popsicle's record reflects that. However the team that will emerge will be a force for next season, that's for sure.

Notable Additions/Losses

Losing a developed Saurus is a pain (Waldorf - MB/Block) but if the trade off is TWO MA 9 Skinks? I think that's one hell of a trade.

vs Scintillant Snotballz Week 1

Last Two Games

Beachbowl Barbarians, 2nd game to be announced

How Did The Experts Fare?

A low table result was a worst case result and clearly has come to fruition.

Hat Enthusiasts (High Elves 1520) - by Air Jordan

Current Record 11th 1-5-5 (-7)

Story So Far

The smaller of the two High Elf teams and for most parts lacking the stats and doubles that the Romans had. Season 13 should be much kinder for Air Jordan and the Hat Enthusiasts.

Notable Additions/Losses

An Agi bust to star Catcher Charlie Chaplin (STR 4, Dodge, Block, Tackle) leaves Air Jordan in a difficult position - can he afford to sack his best player? Or play through the hindrance of an Agi 3 Elf?

Best Result

vs Not'orc-ious B.I.G Week 8

Last Two Games

They came from Down Under, 2nd game to be announced

How Did The Experts Fare?

Went for the dark horse call for Air Jordan, though it became clear that this was a building Season.

Not'orc-ious B.I.G (Orcs 1240) - by McLovinYerMum

Current Record 12th 2-1-7 (-7)

Story So Far

A decent showing early before scheduling issues ended the season early for McLovin. Will be looking forward to the Not'orc-ious B.I.G's next season.

Notable Additions/Losses

Currently owns the envious record of zero dead or retired players after TWO seasons. That's simply remarkable.

Joined Week 2, so no prediction from us
